To ensure our shared container remains intentional, grounded, and structurally sound over these five days, please review the following guidelines.
By registering for the retreat, you agree to these terms.
1. Scope of Practice
I guide this retreat as an Expressive Arts facilitator and coach; I am not a licensed therapist or a mental health professional neither is this program a replacement for mental health treatment.
This space is designed for self-inquiry, creative exploration, and integration of the self. If you are currently navigating a clinical crisis, please seek specialised care.
2. Presence & Environment
- Substance-Free Space: To keep our collective field clear, all group gatherings, sessions, and communal spaces operate on a strict sobriety policy. The studio is a smoke- and substance-free space. You must arrive in the sessions sober and remain such.
- Digital Detox & Devices: We encourage minimal screen time during our days together. Please keep all devices on silent and out of sight during scheduled sessions and shared meals.
- No Recording: To protect the intimacy of the container, audio or video recording of any portion of the retreat is strictly prohibited. You are always welcome to capture your process through written notes or personal art-making.
3. Confidentiality
Everything shared, expressed, or created within our circle remains strictly private. We ask each participant to hold the stories, reflections, and processes of fellow retreat members with respect and confidentiality.
4. Physical & Emotional Pace
Our daily flow includes periods of sitting, movement, creative practice, and quiet integration. Please honor your physical body and emotional capacity at all times—taking rest and asking for help when needed, and moving at a pace that feels grounded for you.
5. Accommodation, Travel & Meals
Logistics for travel, lodging, and daily meals are independent of the retreat program fee and remain the participant’s responsibility.
If you are unfamiliar with McLeodganj, we are happy to share a curated list of local contacts and stay recommendations to help you orient yourself. Please note that these are informal neighborhood suggestions; we have no commercial partnerships or affiliations with these providers.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations made 14 or more days before the retreat start date are eligible for a 50% refund (minus any payment processing fees).
- Cancellations within 14 days of the retreat start date are non-refundable.
- Full payment is due at least 14 days prior to the retreat start date. Spots are limited and confirmed on a first-paid basis.
- It’s best to reach the studio 5-10 minutes earlier for daily sessions. Sessions start and end at its original scheduled time.
- Bookings are non-transferable to another person or another date. If you’re unable to attend, we’re glad to discuss whether a credit toward a future program is possible or not.
- No-shows without prior notice forfeit the full program fee.
- In the rare event the retreat is postponed or cancelled on our end, you’ll receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future date.
- We recommend arranging your own travel insurance to cover illness, travel disruption, or other unforeseen circumstances, as we’re unable to offer refunds for personal circumstances outside the policy above.
Note: Genuine emergencies are always treated with compassion, please reach out as soon as you are safely able to.
Thank you,
— Subhanjali
